What is it?
A training package designed for parents, educators and all caregivers supporting individuals diagnosed with Tourette Syndrome, Attention Deficit (Hyperactivity) Disorder, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, Anxiety and Mood Disorders, Learning Disabilities, Autism and other comorbidly diagnosed neurological disorders. This workshop is also an excellent learning resource for caregivers of all children.
What Will The Workshop Video Provide?
The Camp Winston Workshop video provides practical strategies and skills to help parents and caregivers understand, decrease, and respond to behavioural difficulties. The videos interactive format allows participants to learn behaviour management strategies, practice the techniques in the companion workbook, and critique the exercises with the team of instructors.

The concepts covered in the video are those used by Camp Winston’s community of caregivers, and represent the core of information presented at our workshop sessions and staff training. The workshop depicted in the video takes place in the context of a Camp Winston weekend training session.
Who Will Teach Me?
Camp Winstons director, Denise Fruchter, is a special education teacher with over twenty years of special-needs camping experience. In addition to providing private counseling and home schooling to children with special needs, Denise is a popular lecturer at support groups and conferences.
Howard Bloom brought more than ten years’ experience in special-needs camping to our community. With a Master’s Degree in Education, Howard organized and lead Behavior Management and Skills workshops for parents and professionals supporting challenging children.
Sherri-Ann Bloom had over a decade of expertise and contributed to the field of special needs service provision. Her experience includes work in group homes, applied behavior therapy, and private one-on-one skill development.
A psychotherapist in private practice supporting children and adults with neurological disabilities, Candy Potter has been part of the Camp Winston community over 10 years.
