Longo's Fruit Market

This past December,The Longo’s Family Charitable Foundation made a generous committment to supporting our Jean Lodge Expansion Fund by approving a multi-year grant totalling $50,000. The funds are allocated towards the construction of our year round building.

Each summer, Longo’s holds their charity golf tournament, selecting a variety of worthy organizations to support. We are fortunate enough to have been selected to receive a portion of these funds in both 2004 and 2005.

In recognition of Longo’s and its generosity, we will be naming our new dining facilities in the Jean Lodge in their honour.

Jean Lodge named in honour of the late Jean Clipsham, who together with her husband Stan were the original pioneers at the Camp Winston site, will be a year round building which will house 24 children and up to 18 staff. The facility includes a new dining hall, kitchen and several programming spaces. The facility will allow us to offer retreats during the winter months and will be utilized for our Behaviour Management Workshops. Jean Lodge is to be built in two phases. The above drawing depicts phase 1 and phase 2 of construction.

Thank you Longo’s!
